I have focused my journalism career on producing digital and broadcast content for national and regional media outlets. My success is largely due to the fact that I can shoot video, take photos, edit on either Final Cut or Avid and tell stories.
As a producer for Current TV, I developed and directed two commercials that aired online and nationally on the cable network. For The Miami Herald, I produced and booked national guests for a leading online show, The World Desk with John Yearwood. I served an integral role in building South Florida’s Metromix.com – Tribune’s entertainment and lifestyle site, which grew to more than 2 million monthly viewers. Through my production company, I developed online public service announcements including the Halloween Hoodie Campaign, which became a viral sensation and gained global attention. I have also worked for ION TV – the largest broadcast company in the world – where I wrote scripts for radio and TV broadcast. I also served as an associate producer on national campaigns and oversaw voiceover sessions. I am also comfortable working in front of the camera. As an entertainment correspondent for the CW News at 10 (WSFL), I developed one-minute segments that aired online and broadcasted to 1.5 million homes in South Florida.
